Editorial Policy
How we research, write, review and update the health and wellness information on cryotherapytoronto.ca.
Cryotherapy Toronto has helped clients since 2013. People use our articles to make decisions about their health, so we hold our content to the same standard as our sessions: safe, honest and personal. This policy explains how that works.
Who writes and reviews our content
Articles are written by founder Roman Gersh or by the Cryotherapy Toronto editorial team. Every article is reviewed by Roman before it is published. Each page names its author or reviewer and shows when it was last updated.
How we use evidence
- We base health claims on peer-reviewed research, such as systematic reviews, meta-analyses, randomised trials and Cochrane reviews, and on guidance from public health bodies.
- We link to our sources so you can check them. Where the evidence is limited, mixed or low quality, we say so plainly.
- We separate what research shows from what clients tell us they feel. Both matter, but they are not the same thing.
- Research and drafting tools may help our team, but a person checks every claim against its source and reviews every article before it is published.
What we will not do
- Claim that cryotherapy, cryofacial, red light or compression therapy diagnoses, treats, cures or prevents any disease.
- Promise specific results, weight loss figures or "detox" effects that are not supported by evidence.
- Encourage anyone to delay or replace care from a physician or other regulated health professional.
Commercial transparency
We are a local business and we offer the services we write about. We never accept paid placements or sponsored content. Where an article mentions our own services or prices, it is so you have the full picture, and prices are shown in Canadian dollars plus HST.
Keeping content up to date
We review our articles regularly and when important new research is published. The “Last updated” date on each page shows when it was last reviewed. Many of our older articles were first published between 2014 and 2023. In 2026 we restored and reviewed them, added medical disclaimers, and kept the original publication dates for transparency.
Corrections and feedback
If you spot an error or an outdated claim, please email admin@cryotherapytoronto.ca or call (416) 509-4555. We will review it promptly and correct the page where needed.
